X-DISTRACTIONS - "XTRA LOVER" featuring Terri Janke on vocals and Damian Reichel on keyboards, guitar, drum machine and backing vocals.  X-DISTRACTIONS grew from our Sydney band from mid-to-late 1980's, THE DisTrActions (no relation to other bands of the same name now playing) featuredTerri Janke on vocals, Damian Reichel on guitar, backing vocals, trumpet and keyboards, Michael Priddis on guitar and vocals,   Peter Price on drums, Chris Vaughan on bass, and Allan Woodley on sax.  We played mostly at the Evening Star Hotel in Elizabeh Street in Central and at the Harbourside Brasserie at Miller's Point. We also played at Bondi Pavillion at a concert and corroboree event called  "Koomparto' in April 1988, with DRagon, Gondwanaland, Black Lace, Roger Knox and band, Ruby Hunter and others.

The tracks were transferred from tape to digital by "DJ MAGOO" Glenn Aird. The X-DISTRACTIONS songs and some R a W songs have been mastered by William Bowden, King Willy Sound, Tasmania, Australia.

To select the albums or individual tracks, go to the menu on the MUSIC tab.  There is also a STORE (which has to be updated with the new material). Tracks can be listened to online and/or downloaded.  Further artwork and other works, information and material to be added as construction continues.  Thank you for your patience.

The site also includes a long poem called  "ON HONG KONG" written in Hong Kong 1999-2001, with 90 photographs and 4 artworks by Australian artist Noel McKenna that were created for the poem.
